Crestapol® 1220PA Urethane Acrylate Resin
Crestapol 1220PA is an impact resistant laminating urethane acrylate resin specifically designed to be used in high performance applications in industries including construction and marine. This low viscosity resin has excellent toughness, with a tensile strength of up to 543MPa and a flexural strength of up to 408MPa when fully cured and filled.
Our Crestapol resins should attain workshop temperature of 18°C-20°C before use in order to achieve the best results. The addition of an MEKP (50%) catalyst is needed to begin the curing process and this should be thoroughly incorporated once added. For optimum performance, Crestapol 1220PA laminates can be post-cured, however this is not necessary for satisfactory laminates to form.
Supplied in both 25kg and 200kg containers, Crestapol 1220PA should be stored in a cool, dark area at a temperature between 20°C and 30°C. Containers should be opened only immediately prior to use.
