Crestapol® 1210A Urethane Acrylate Resin
Crestapol 1210A is a urethane acrylate resin that has excellent toughness and can be highly filled. This resin is partially pre-accelerated, reducing the amount of catalyst required for curing to begin, however a non-accelerated version is also available (Crestapol 1210).
Designed specifically for closed mould processes, Crestapol 1210A is perfect for RTM and RTM Light applications. It is not recommended for open mould processes. It has a rapid cure and needs no post cure to reach its optimum performance, making it ideal for applications where fast production rates are required.
This resin should attain workshop temperature before use, and simply requires the addition of a catalyst (Acetylacetone peroxide is recommended) and one accelerator to start the curing reaction. It may also be filled with a variety of additives, including calcium carbonate and alumina trihydrate. Once cured, Crestapol 1210A has a tensile strength of 79MPa.
Crestapol 1210A should be stored in the dark, at a temperature of less than 20°C if practical. Containers are supplied in 25kg, 200kg and 1-tonne sizes, and should be opened immediately before use. For more information download our datasheet below or speak to your local distributor.
