Texipol 63-259
At Scott Bader, we supply a wide selection of rheology modifiers suitable for a variety of compositions and emulsions. Our Texipol 63-259 is an inverse emulsion rheology modifier designed for use with aqueous based solutions to create a highly pseudoplastic consistency.
Supplied as a low viscosity liquid, Texipol 63-259 provides almost instant thickening after use, working most efficiently for solutions with a pH profile above 8. This polymer is ideal for use in water-based adhesives and coatings, bituminous coatings, mastics and textured coating systems. It is a pre-neutralised dispersion as the ammonium salt of an acrylic polymer and therefore doesn’t need neutralisation to promote thickening.
Texipol 63-259 is APEO free and compliant with California Prop 65. We supply this rheology modifier in both drums and IBCs, which should be stored between 5 and 30°C before use.
