Texipol 63-201
Part of our Texipol range of rheology modifiers, Texipol 63-201 is an inverse emulsion thickener that produces a homogenous paste with a viscosity of >700 mPa s when mixed with deionised water. This thickener imparts a stringy and mildly pseudoplastic rheology to aqueous-based compositions and is ideal for use with highly filled carpet backing compounds and adhesives where long flow behaviour improves the wet tack.
Supplied in drums and IBCs as a pre-neutralised dispersion, Texipol 63-201 is an easy to use, low viscosity liquid. It does not require any neutralisation or additives before use, and provides almost instantaneous thickening, helping to increase the efficiency of your production process. It is suitable for systems as low as pH 5 but is most effective at a pH of 7 or more.
All Scott Bader Texipol emulsion thickeners should be stored between 5°C and 30°C, away from direct sunlight and in their original, airtight container.
