Crestapol® 1212 Urethane Acrylate Resin
Crestapol 1212 is an FST performance, low viscosity resin, designed for use in closed mould and pultrusion processes. This tough resin complies with European and global fire safety standards and is therefore suitable for use in a wide range of applications within the building and transport industries.
After the use of a catalyst and accelerator, this urethane acrylate resin has a rapid cure time, when used at optimum workshop temperature of between 18°C and 20°C. It is pre-filled with selected grades of alumina trihydrate which provides the highest standard of fire, smoke and toxicity resistance once cured.
Crestapol 1212 is a thermosetting resin and has a fracture toughness of almost 500 J/m², giving excellent mechanical performance and strength. As well as being suitable for use with different inhibitors and additives to give the desired geltime and fire resistance, this resin is also pigmentable and compatible with a range of polyester pigment pastes, making it easy to achieve your desired look and colour.
