Scott Bader hosts first ever virtual AGM
Due to the ongoing pandemic and social distancing regulations, our 2020 Annual General Meeting could not be held in person this year. However, we quickly adapted and organised our first ever virtual AGM!
Moving the AGM to a virtual platform allowed it to be viewed by colleagues from across the Scott Bader Group. Colleagues from Scott Bader France, North America, Croatia, Middle East and the UK all watched on as the AGM was delivered by Adrian Pryce, Scott Bader Commonwealth Chairman, Kevin Matthews, Scott Bader CEO, Paul Smith, Non-Executive Chairman and Matthew Collins, Scott Bader Group CFO.
In addition to standard AGM business, the results of the Commonwealth Members vote on the percentage of Scott Bader Company profits to be donated to the Scott Bader Commonwealth Limited, to support its charitable giving, were announced.
The virtual AGM ran successfully and included an announcement that Robert Gibson will be our new Scott Bader Commonwealth Chairman with Adrian stepping down. We thank Adrian for all of his hard work during his time with Scott Bader and wish him well in the future.
Following lots of positive feedback, we will continue to include a virtual element to future AGMs so colleagues from around the Scott Bader Group can watch them live.
Well done to all involved in organising our first ever virtual AGM!
