Throughout each year, Scott Bader colleagues are encouraged to take a volunteering day to help either charities, the environment or the wider community.

Scott Bader Scandinavia colleague, Agne Bengtssonn, chose to use his in order to help and support a Para-athletic competition for children. Handikapp Idrott Falkenberg, a charity supported by Scott Bader for some time, were competing in the event. Many of their children have difficulty running and even walking.

Agne said, “To meet all these disabled children and introduce them to activities that were totally new to them was really special and encouraging. Although some were initially afraid, by the end you could see they did not want to leave. To see their smiles during the event was very emotional.”

Handikapp Idrott Falkenberg has 37 disabled members under their care and rely on funding from both the government and sponsors. They are extremely grateful for Scott Bader’s support, as is Agne for allowing him to be a part of their event.
