As part of Scott Bader’s continued commitment to sustainability and bio-derived chemistry, colleagues from the U.K, including CEO Jean-Claude Pierre, will be attending the Composites UK conference; Are Biocomposites Sustainable?

Since the early 1950s, we have been promoting the idea of optimising the use of natural resources in manufacturing products. Today, Scott Bader:

• continues to research and develop products with increasing natural feedstock content.
• strives to reduce energy consumption per tonne of product produced across all our sites.
• is committed to achieving a 15% energy consumption reduction by 2020.

The conference will be held on Tuesday 31st January at the National Composites Centre, Bristol.
