Textile innovation with Sintequímica
Scott Bader and Sintequímica’s long-term partnership has delivered innovation that has changed the Textile printing market as we know it today.
The revolutionary innovation introduced was Texipol 63-237, an inverse emulsion thickener. It’s genius is that it allows the ingredients in a textile printing paste to be reduced from as high as 14 down to just 4, offering a simpler, better performing and more sustainable chemistry.
The more sustainable chemistry created using Texipol 63-237 offers many benefits including, better colour definition, more efficient production and a smoother formulation that runs smoother on printing machines thus reducing the amount of pressure needed. This means textile printers can print onto 10% or even up to 20% more fabric using the same amount of paste.
Sintequímica, based in São Paulo, Brazil is the market leader in chemical products for textile printing. They produce pigment dispersions and chemical auxiliaries for many markets including textile printing and our partnership has been successful for over 40 years. Sintequímica were the first to produce pigment dispersions in South America with 70 years in the market.
