Wrightbus is a city bus public transport manufacturer, based in Ballymena, Northern Ireland. They design and manufacture both chassis and body structures along with GRP manufacture and fabrications.

Set up in 1946 as a coach builder, Wrightbus ventured into bus building in the 1950s. Over the past 17 years, they have been producing composite parts in house at scale.

The project

Wrightbus wanted to work with Scott Bader as they recognised us as the market leader for high-performance composite materials with a world renowned reputation for excellent technical support. They worked with our team of technical experts to create a range of approved systems with adaptations for each application.
